Fiorentina lost 3-4 to Sassuolo with Domenico Berardi scoring  a first-half hat-trick as Sassuolo edged Fiorentina.

The 19-year-old who is on loan from league winners Juventus  completed his hat-trick three minutes before the interval.
Gonzalo Rodriguez scored Fiorentina's first from the penalty spot in the 57th minute before Nicola Sansone extended Sassuolo's lead back to three goals shortly after.
Strikes from substitute Giuseppe Rossi and Juan Guillermo Cuadrado pulled Fiorentina back to 4-3 just 15 minutes from the end but the hosts could not find the equaliser.
The victory has lifted Sassuolo out of the relegation zone and into 16th place, two points clear of danger with two games remaining.
Fiorentina are fourth in the standings, four points above Inter Milan.

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has re-called  Stoke City striker Osaze Odemwingie back in his squad alongside team's captain Joseph Yobo.

Unfortunately there was no shirt for Villareal FC striker Ikechukwu Uche whom Keshi swore will not be part of his team.

Reading FC player Hope Akpan who was initially in the list,but former Flying Eagles striker the Uche Nwofor was drafted in late in the day to replace him.

The 52 year old also invited 5 home based players from the Nigerian premiere league.

The list will be pruned down after some series of friendly games to an eventual 23 who will be going to Brazil,starting with the match against Scotland on May 28.

Inter Legend Javier Zanetti confirms retirement

Inter captain Javier Zanetti has confirmed that he will retire at the end of the season.

Club president Erick Thohir claimed last week that the Argentine would hang up his boots at the end of the season and take up a new role with the club , and Zanetti is looking forward to the challenge as he prepares to call time on a glittering 22-year career.
"To quit at 40 is a unique sensation. I feel proud of myself, this is the right moment," he told La Nacion .
"After my injury last year, I wanted to prove that I could come back to competitive football and I made it.
"I dreamed of ending my career with Inter. Inter is my home and I'll try to contribute off the pitch as well as on it.
"I'll be the sporting director - a fascinating new challenge. I'm willing to learn."

Sergio Aguero has been ruled out of Manchester City's game against Aston Villa on Wednesday but could be fit to feature in the last game of the season against West Ham

Juventus champions as Roma lose

Relegation contenders Catania decided the final destination of the Serie A title with a 4-1 victory over Roma that confirmed Juventus as champions.

Parma's quest for European football is back on track after a 2-0 home victory over Sampdoria snapped a two-game losing streak.

Arsenal gets UEFA Champions league slot
